Barb Page, CEMT, along with husband Tom, raise running bred
paint and quarter horses, as well as registered and commercial
Black Angus cattle north of  Laramie, Wyoming.  Their livelihood and
frequently their very lives depend on their horses.  In
Sport Horse,
Barb found a means to address lameness and soreness issues as
well as prevent them so her "friends" could perform better, work
harder, and run faster.  The ranch has provided a wealth of
opportunity for Barb to practice on not only on her horses but cows,
dogs and cats too.  She is intuitively a "natural" practitioner.  Barb's
greatest hope is that everyone might experience the new
communication and harmonic relationship with their animals that
Sport Horse Therapeutic Massage promotes.

ABOUT US
Jan Scott, CEMT certified under Buster in 2000, and as Buster's health
deteriorated, worked with Jerry Gaddis to refine and develop the original
technique over many years of training barns and back pastures throughout
Wyoming, Colorado,and Nebraska finally creating
Sport Horse so that more
and more horses could be helped through workshops and clinics.  In
appreciation that no one therapy can adequately address the many
complexities found, Jan has also pursued acupressure, chiropractic, cranial
sacral and energy therapies so that techniques from each could be
incorporated into the refined Sport Horse program.  A Colorado Native, Jan
lives in Waverly, Colorado with her husband and a full contingent of four
legged creatures.
Our original equine techniques were developed by Buster Harlow, a renowned
physical therapist from Gillette, Wyoming.  Able to see the problems exhibited when
he went to horse events with his wife, he took on the challenge.  After working with
veterinarians and attending an array of equine schools in the United States and
Canada, Buster designed a unique deep muscle therapeutic massage that would
address all muscle groups toward better performance.  He was particularly well
known in the racing, cutting and barrel racing world.  Buster passed away in 2007
having captured the appreciation and admiration of many.  He was a wealth of
knowledge, a man with a great heart and love of God.  Thanks Buster!
A native of Wyoming and lifetime horseman, Jerry Gaddis met Buster
soon after Buster started working with horses.  Jerry helped Buster
integrate the equine side of the equation and was one in the original
group to be certified by Buster.  In addition to making custom boots
and saddles, Jerry retired from bronc riding and team roping after 20
years on the rodeo circuit.  His inherent knowledge of equine form
and function and depth of understanding regarding rodeo events has
been invaluable to
Sports Horse's development.
H. Don "Doc" Poling, DVM graduated from Colorado State
University Vet School in 1972 and is licensed in three states.
Over his many years of practice "Doc" realized the inadequacies
of conventional medicine and went in search of true methods of
effecting real cures.  In
Sport Horse Doc found immediate relief
available and a program that combined techniques from many
sources not only to find solutions to more problems, but to work
toward healing the whole animal.  An enormous fan of energy
work and other alternative means of effecting health, Doc is also a
member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
Doc and his wife run cattle in north Texas.
